Printing Technology

Printing is a process for mass reproducing text and images using a master form or template. Woodblock printing is a technique for printing text, images or patterns that was used widely throughout East Asia. It originated in China in antiquity as a method of printing on textiles and later on paper. As a method of printing on cloth, the earliest surviving examples from China date to before 220 A.D

Block printing, called tarsh in Arabic, developed in Arabic Egypt during the ninth and tenth centuries, mostly for prayers and amulets. Block printing first came to Europe as a method for printing on cloth, where it was common by 1300.

The rotary printing press was invented by Richard March Hoe in 1843. It uses impressions curved around a cylinder to print on long continuous rolls of paper or other substrates.

Letterpress Printing

Letterpress Printing is a technique of relief printing.

A worker composes and locks movable type into the bed of a press, inks it, and presses paper against it to transfer the ink from the type which creates an impression on the paper. There is different paper for different works the quality of paper shows different ink to use.

Offset printing

Offset printing is a widely used modern printing process With offset or “litho” printing the image (your artwork) is transferred to metal plates and then from the plates to a rubber blanket. Then the inked blankets transfer the image onto paper. The process is called offset because the ink is first transferred from plate to blanket rather than going directly on to the paper.

Digital Printing

Digital presses use powdered toner instead of traditional inks and with the digital printing process, your artwork goes straight from your pdf to print. Early digital presses couldn’t compete with the quality produced by full-colour printing

Flexography (often abbreviated to flexo) is a form of printing process which utilizes a flexible relief plate.Flexo has an advantage over lithography in that it can use a wider range of inks, water based rather than oil based inks, and is good at printing on a variety of different materials like plastic, foil, acetate film, brown paper, and other materials used in packaging.

Screen printing

Screen printing as we know it has been around since the early 20th century and is used for printing fabrics, wood, glass, signage etc. The image is transferred to a fine mesh and areas to be left blank are covered with a substrate. The printing process involves pushing ink through the openings in the mesh onto the end material.

Acrylic Letter Block – Letters are cut into desired size by using Laser Cutter Machine and makes the letter to glow with LED bulbs in suitable positions.Making letter block is a manual work.

Metal Blocks – Letters are designed with metal cutter into our desired size.

3D Printing

3D printing uses computer-aided design (CAD) to create three-dimensional objects through a layering method. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced cross-section of the object.

3D printing is the opposite of subtractive manufacturing which is cutting out / hollowing out a piece of metal or plastic with for instance a milling machine.

3D printing enables you to produce complex shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods.

LED UV

UV filtering acrylic is one of the most popular specialized acrylic sheeting solutions on the market today Although the most common application of UV filtering acrylic plastic is for framing and signboard in

Printing technology has come a long way since Johannes Gutenberg printed copies of the Bible on his printing press in 1452. His invention has played a vital role in shaping the world we are having now today.
